I never thought I'd miss the summer

I never thought I'd miss the warm summer days. Nearly 6 years ago when I moved to Medellín to study I dreaded the heat. Later when I moved to Italy I consistently tried to escape the asphyxiating days of June, July and August.

I always felt like the best climate for me was the cool weather up in the mountains of my home town. I still think so. However, today I missed the long summer days. The walks in the park and through the streets at 9pm. I never in my life thought this would happen. But its true.

I miss the summer.
